Description:

This is a Three-Armed Half-Clover Intechange. It’s a ‘service interchange’, connecting a highway to a regular road network. Because of the many ramps the traffic lights on the two intersections only have two steps in one cycle (see screenshots), which leads to a great traffic flow.

The ‘Node Controller Renewal’ mod is the only real requirement for placing this asset. All other items are optional!!


Besides the road markings, I’ve applied guardrails and traffic signs using the new options provided by the ‘Intersection Marking Tool’:

– These features are visible but do not count towards the prop and node count.
– These features are only visible when subscribed to both the items as well as the ‘Intersection Marking Tool’ mod.
– If you subscribe to the ‘Intersection Marking Tool’ mod, but not the items, only the road markings will be visible.
– If you do not subscribe to these items AND the ‘Intersection Marking Tool’ mod these features will not show, but the asset itself still loads fine and can be placed without issues.

Several TM:PE options are saved into this asset as well. Except for ‘Timed Traffic Lights’, as these are not availlable in the editor. If you want those options availlable in your game you need to subscribe to the Traffic Manager mod.

– Lane mathematics are applied for a good traffic flow.
– Lane connections have been applied.
– No clipping lightposts/streetlights (lights going through roads situated above them)

– As always; flatten the entire area the blueprint/template covers.
– Smooth out the terrain after placing.
– To fully enjoy this interchange you need to subscribe to a couple of mods. These mods do not affect your games performance. They only add extra very handy tools to your game.

Because ‘3-lane highways’ are the most commonly used highway type on maps, I’ve created this interchange to be connected (the highway ends on the interchange) to these 3-lane highways. The 4th lane on the 4-lane highways are used as exit and entry lanes.
