Breng GTW 2/8
Since 2012, a Dutch company called Breng is responsible for the train service between Arnhem Central station and Doetichem in the east of the Netherlands. Together with Arriva, Breng is running a frequency of four times an hour in both directions between the two cities. It is one of the most busiest train services in the Netherlands not operated by the Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS) (or in English: Dutch Railways).
The trains are diesel powered engines and are the same as Arriva is using on this line and other lines in the Netherlands. The trains have a seating capacity of around 150 seats and around 50 standing places. Breng only has nine trains in total! All of which are GTW 2/8 trains.
The most common configuration are the three and six car version. The nine car version is a rare occasion, but happens so now and then.
