Moderus Beta (MF16AC BD – Line Coloured)

The Modertrans Moderus Beta is a tram developed by Modertrans in Poznań. Originally intended to be a partially low-floor, articulated modernisation of the Konstal 105Na, it was eventually developed into its own new type of tram. Moderus Beta trams can be unidirectional or bidirectional, and can consist of one or three articulated sections.

This particular Moderus Beta is based on the the MF16AC BD, a bidirectional, three-section articulated tram that serves Upper Silesia. It is line coloured.

Requires snowfall.

Requires Additive Shader (or this fork) for the destination boards (not necessary if you don’t want the destination boards).

Note: this tram is not actually bidirectional in-game, as Cities: Skylines doesn’t have that functionality 🙁

This tram has a capacity of 198 (74 in the front and rear sections and 50 in the middle section) and a speed of 70. You can adjust this with other mods like transport lines manager or advanced vehicle options.

Texture sharing is used, so if you use loading screen mod, the three sections of this tram will share textures, drastically reducing memory used.

Textures are decompressed for a better look at the expense of more memory used.
