Description:

Traffic Load Tester for Six Lane Swirlabout

1. Make a standard four-way junction with 3+3 lane wide roads.
2. Cut them all back so there is a 10×10 blank space in the middle (zones for the roads should still be just touching).
3. Join the road ends with 6 line one way roads in whichever direction is appropriate to your road handedness.
4. Expand all four junctions using Node Controller so that the one way roads almost vanish. The next stage requires that a very short lane stub exists.
5. Use Traffic Manager President Edition to join incoming and outgoing lanes without any splitting or merging to maximise efficiency.
6. Use Intersection Marking Tool to follow the paths of the joined lanes. The new chevrons or old solid shading looks good for "no go" areas, with 45 degree hashed yellow grids for "no stopping" areas and yellow lines for "give way" points are common where I live.
7. Use TMPE to remove lights and crossings to the island, and set give way and stopping rules.
