Riverdale 2022
My first map on the Workshop. Inspired by the Pittsburgh area, though it bears little resemblance. Map caters to my playstyle, but thought someone else might have some interest in it as well.
Aside from the dense forestry area, I mostly left any space I intend to build on devoid of trees. They would end up getting deleted anyway and any gaps can be filled in later as appropriate for detailing. The flat areas should be completely flat.
-All roads have been adjusted with Network Multitool, Node Controller, and Intersection Marking Tool. I think I got everything, but no guarantees on that.
-81 tiles highly recommended. A lot of usable space lies outside the 25 tiles area.
-A dam put in the location in the snapshot will generate 1600MW. Without it, there should be enough power to the start square for a short time until you can afford to build it. Water and sewage are also available, although I personally don’t use pipes, so you’ll need to draw those in yourself if necessary.
-3 Rail Connections, doubled up. I tend to separate the cargo and passenger traffic at the map edge to relieve backups. Only one of each is connected to the network, but each has a separate outside connection that can be connected if necessary.

-8 Road Connections, 2 on each map edge.

-Roads are North American Freeways by Greyflame for the most part.
-Ground rail is High Speed Rail Viaduct – Ground Version by Jakubesko.
-Elevated rail is the high speed viaduct from the Content Creator Pack
-Rail Tunnels are Railway Erfurt-Nuremberg High Speed Rail (Wired) by REV0
-The cable-stay rail bridge is Railway Piacenza High Speed Rail Bridge (Wired) also by REV0
The One-Click collection seems like a lot, but the only things really necessary are the road and track networks and their dependencies. And the power substation. The map should still work without the trees or the themes.
