Mizushima Rinkai Railway MRT300 type "Himawari"
It is a diesel car introduced by Mizushima Rinkai Railway in the 1990s.
Until now, it was operated by a vehicle sold by the Japanese National Railways, but due to its remarkable deterioration, 6 new cars were manufactured.
For a while after its appearance, it was operated mixed with Japanese National Railways type diesel railcars, but in recent years it has been playing an active role as a central player.
The car is over 20 years old, but there is no substitute and all cars are in operation.(September 2021)
Since the railway line connects the center of Kurashiki with the Mizushima Complex, there is a demand for passengers to commute to work or school. Therefore, it is a large vehicle with a capacity of nearly 150 people for a local private railway.
From the Kurashiki city station side, although it is a short section, it runs parallel to the Sanyo line, an urban area where apartments are built, a grade separation of national highway No. 2 and 6 lanes, an idyllic suburban agricultural area, a single track elevated over an industrial road, a combination and variety at the end point You can see the rich scenery.
Initially, the coloring was in line with the Corporation color, but in the 2000s, four cars were painted on the sunflower design and are now active under the nickname "Himawari-go". In 2020, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary, a vehicle painted in two-tone black and vermilion also appeared.
About the model
Created with the image of 2021. The tail light seems to have become an LED recently, so it is whitish.
It took me a long time to model because there were few materials at hand, 20 years had passed since the appearance, and there were differences in maintenance or individual differences.
The destination of the direction curtain is switched according to the direction of travel. Kurashiki City ← → Mizushima
Also, although it may be over, it produces exhaust gas during acceleration.
