The Flow Interchange
I recently built a new map and had to create a four-way interchange on it for the distribution of traffic. One of the things I enjoy building is interchanges, the more complex, the better. Though this isn’t anything particularly special, it certainly looks very "flowy" and does the job it was intended for. I like avoiding the standard cloverleaf interchange, but take the concept of it and extrapolate it into a new form to achieve a constant flowing traffic interchange.
I did some Node Controller and Intersection Marking Tools work on the interchange, but whether it will carry through or not, I do not know. Either way, I tried to keep the road connections as smooth as possible to avoid as much road clipping as possible.
This interchange requires the Mass Transit DLC.
I know interchange building isn’t everyone’s cup of tea so I hope this helps make someone’s life that little bit easier with something that will hopefully look good in your cities.
