Midtown Office 4
Part four of my small collection of midtown offices (Part one, two, and three). All of them use the same texture so this set is very memory efficient (if you use LSM).
I found this building somewhere in the eastern part, between the UN headquarters and the Grand Central Terminal. It has an almost absurd amount of setbacks on both sides so it looks like a wedge. This is due to the fact that the street is quite narrow, and zoning restrictions didn’t allow it to be taller.
This is a typical Art Deco building with quite minimalistic decorations. It was completed in 1929. I had to modify its footprint to make sure it fits the grid, but the decorations were recreated pretty much as it is.
