The roads that I use in my city (work in progress).

Naming convention
Syntax: RH-SL-Sym-RC-[RWS]-RCA-O
RH – Road hierarchy
- Hwy – Highway / Freeway / Motorway / Expressway / Controlled-access / Limited-access
- Art – Arterial road
- Col – Collector road / Distributor road
- Loc – Local road / Street
- Ded – Dedicated road
SL – Speed limit
Applies to all vehicles excluding bikes
- y – Where y is the speed limit in Kmph
Sym – Symmetry
A symmetrical road configuration is the default by omission

In a symmetrical road configuration only the left-side road components are specified, in the RC element, from left to middle. - #A – Asymmetrical road configuration
In an asymmetrical road configuration all road components are specified explicitly from left to right. The right-side road components, coming after the roadway(s), are specified in the RCA element, from middle to right.
RC – Road configuration components
Syntax: Consist of a varying set of the following elements, usually in this order.
- SB – Sound barrier
- Sh – Shoulder
- SW – Sidewalk (2W+1L)
- G – Grass verge
- T – Trees verge
- bike – Bike lane (1W+1L)
- BIKE – Bike lane (2W+2L)
- P – Paved verge
- G – Grass verge
- T – Trees verge
- PL – Parking lane
- bus – Bus lane (1W+1L)
- BUS – Bus lane (2W+2L)
[RWS] – Roadway specification
A maximum of two roadways is assumed
Syntax: D+L+M
D – Direction
- 1W – One-way
- 2W – Two-way
L – Lanes
- xL – x regular lanes (where regular stands for non-dedicated)
- xL(y+z) – In case of asymmetrical lanes (y+z=x)
By default, bikes and pedestrians are not allowed on regular lanes unless stated otherwise under Other – O
M – Median
- P – Paved median
- G – Grass median
- T – Trees median
- R – Guardrail median
RCA – Right-side road configuration components

Other – O
- Busway – Bus-only road – 2L+2W
- Bikepath – Bike-only road – 2L+2W (pedestrians may walk here)
- Footpath – Pedestrians-only road – 1L+2W
- BoR – Bikes on regular lanes
- PoR – Pedestrians on regular lanes
- (abc) – Any kind of important aspect of a road e.g. it’s made of bricks or it’s a ramp, etc.
