Equestrian Monument to Simon Bolivar, Latin America
Hola companeros,
this is another fictive monument to "El Libertador" Simon Bolivar, as it could be found all over Latin America. Born on 24 of July 1783 in Carracas and died on 17 of December 1830, he was a Venezuelan military and political leader who led what are currently the countries of Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia to independence from the Spanish Empire. He is known colloquially as El Libertador, or the Liberator of America.
BolĂvar is regarded as a national and cultural icon throughout Latin America; the nations of Bolivia and Venezuela and their currencies are named after him. His legacy is diverse and far-reaching both within Latin America and beyond. He has been memorialized all over the world in the form of public art or street names and in popular culture.
This memorial was made by using some textures and references from a photogrammery model. So credits go aswell to: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/simon-bolivar-venezuela-heritage-787b02f5d6394df79eddd30d46f71ec8
The Pedestal was completely made by me, modelling along the recently dismantled Rober E. Lee Monument on Monument Avenue, Richmond, USA.
Many thx go out aswell to my friends Bastet and Luis4k for delivering great screenshots.
