SC44 Charger & Superliner – ‘Pere Marquette’ (2+3Cars)
Amtrak Midwest: Chicago – Grand Rapids
The Siemens Charger is a family of diesel-electric passenger locomotives designed and manufactured by Siemens Mobility for the North American market. There are four models of Chargers: the SC-44 for state-supported inter-city services, the SCB-40 for Brightline inter-city service, the SC-42 for VIA corridor service, and the ALC-42 for Amtrak long distance service.
– Commuter consist: 3 Cars made after ‘Pere Marquette’ Route
– SC44 Charger: Single config. A total of 2 engines is assigned to this configuration: 1engine on forward, 1 engine on rear.
– Modeled interior compartment, that is quite noticeable
– Interior lightning with Additive Shader (works between 18h00 to 07h00)
– VIEWLINER: Contains Viewliner coaches, commissioned to Nostrix.
– Can be assigned to train routes via IMT or transport line manager of your choice.
– This is a long train, thus should be used on loop configurations.
