Block January 23 (Unique Residential building) Bloque 23 de Enero (Edificio Único Residencial) (Red Version)
The January 23 blocks is an urbanization west of the city of Caracas, in the Libertador Municipality in the north-central part of the South American country of Venezuela.
In the 1950s, under the government of General Marcos Pérez Jiménez, they were built based on the principles of CIAM, with apartments that were granted to the lower and middle class population of Caracas.
Initially it would be called "Urbanización 2 de Diciembre", however the current name was assigned by the date January 23 that commemorates the overthrow of the General and the beginning of democracy.

Los bloques 23 de Enero es una urbanización al oeste de la ciudad de Caracas, en el Municipio Libertador al centro norte del país sudamericano de Venezuela.
En la década de los años 1950, bajo el gobierno del General Marcos Pérez Jiménez, se construyeron basándose en los principios del CIAM, con apartamentos que fueron otorgados a la población de clase media y baja de Caracas.
Inicialmente se llamaría "Urbanización 2 de Diciembre", sin embargo el nombre actual fue asignado por la fecha 23 de enero que conmemora el derrocamiento del General e inicio de la democracia.
