Alien Cybertech
What an amazing find! Not one but two sentient alien "life forms"!
One is an advanced cyborg; whether designed initially by another intelligence or self-generated, we do not yet know — and may never find out.
Our deep imaging scans of the cybernetic hulk shows all the hallmarks of past life that is almost certainly dead now. It is larger than our largest space stations, and we have found evidence that it has passed through many different star systems during its travels. It has a carbon-based "body" that is being consumed and reduced to pure liquid resource.
The second life form is the parasite: it is a fungal organism that has evolved the ability of interstellar travel. Spores arrived on the cyborg drifter and immediately colonized it and ate it, alive.
The process has taken a very, very long time; hundreds of millions of Sols, we believe. On a cosmic timescale it is almost complete, with most of the "surface" of the cyborg rendered into liquid resource by the digestive process of the fungus.
This fungus has been judged innocuous to us: the molecular structure of our materials lacks the large, open, vein-like pathways of the dead borg. In short, our metals and networks cannot be hijacked and consumed by this astro-mold.
There is enough time remaining (our scientists assure us it will remain noticeably unchanged for several of our own generations) that we can build an extraction facility here without fear of losing "the ground beneath our feet". We’ve positioned a wormhole device nearby to allow for rapid development and transport.
The liquid resource is extremely valuable, and we can extract as much of it as we like. There is no reason to save this galactic skeleton; once it is entirely consumed down to a critical lack of core mass it will lose its atmosphere and instantly dissipate into ether.

There are two loops of invisible air road in the start square. Once you select any road you will be able to see where to connect. Highways are underground. Rail network has 4 connections. 3 Ship connections. 4 Plane connections. No fertile, forest or mining resources; only oil and fish.
