Omicron Draconis
A very strange alien world…
Three small moons locked in its orbit.
There is liquid on this planet – but it isn’t water. It isn’t exactly toxic, but I would stick to drinking the water we produce in our moisture farms if I were you.
Still; there is an abundance of life in these bodies of chemical liquids which, if carefully cleaned, are delicious.
The dense, foggy, and humid atmosphere is breathable, and currently sustains a planet-wide fungal network that blankets the ground as well as larger "vegetation": towering, neon-orange needles, huge, low-growing pulsating sacs, and tethered clusters of biogas-filled globules which sway in the powerful winds. There are also large crystal formations that seem to undergo a calcification as they age (and thereby become very useful as a natural resource).
Over the eons there has been a lot of carbon-based and organic material deposited; and you can extract it as fuel if you’d like.
We have found no other life forms but there are, scattered here and there, ruins of some previous intelligence. These are uniformly empty and devoid of any artifacts or symbols. They remain a complete enigma to us; so we are sending you to this….place….to establish a colony, and report back.
