Description:

This savegame will run great at least till the next DLC Borks it.
Please enable and configure the required mods when you subscribe.

The critical mods are at least;

– 81 Tiles 2, enable electric and water pipe options. No need to enable money as the budget works fine
– Game Anarchy, again enable most things. Don’t worry about education and water as the save is self sufficient there
– TM:PE, unfortunately nothing comes over in the save but it nonetheless runs without congestion
– There are several others included that just make the game run and look WAY better
– None of the color corrections or themes i used enable fully so you can enable your own favorites

I try my savegames first on a separate less powerful computer (i5 12400) and all work fine on medium settings in spite of NO video card and only onboard graphics and 16gb of RAM, so if you want to try it here are some of the steps I followed;

– Subscribe to any savegame you are interested in
– You will need to enable and configure the mods before launching the game using the "Content Manager" option
– Start CITIES and look for the save under "load game" in the menu and start it
– Some mods are critical, like Game Anarchy where you need everything other than money water and education enabled. The game is self sufficient for money water and education, everything else just gets rid of the annoying stuff.
– 81 Tiles 2 is critically important, enable it with the water and electric options.
– Go into game settings and dumb down any quality things as required, my i5 12400 with only ONBOARD graphics sharing just 16GB of available RAM runs acceptably using mostly medium settings. Quite a surprise as everything I read said it would not run period. Not true!

For the game to run perfectly you also need most of the DLC. It can acceptably with few or even none but you will likely get some missing content warnings but should still run

Please post any tips, comments or questions to help the rest of us.

Above all, ENJOY, HAVE FUN and thanks for subscribing.
