Vanilla Two-Way Single Train Track (Alternative)
In the workshop there is already a single track that can be used by trains in both directions. Unfortunately, the tracks have a "tube rail" and the network has not been updated for many years.
This network has the new textured vanilla railroad tracks. The new track texture was part of a free update in the game and affected train tracks, metro tracks and tram tracks.

- Ground, elevated, bridge, slope and tunnel (not visible) segments.
Avoiding train jams and collisions
Trains are programmed not to run into each other. They stop and wait (and look at each other).
You need the the SingleTrainTrackAI mod to use this track for both directions. It’s my recommendation.
Another possibility is the Mod Traffic Manager.
Traffic lights can be set (and programmed) here. The traffic lights are not visible on nodes.
