2023 Polaris Slingshot SL
2023 Polaris Slingshot SL
Since 2015, the Polaris Slingshot is (according to Wikipedia) a three-wheel motorcycle, but is however controlled with a steering wheel, has side-by-side bucket seats, and does not lean.
In all U.S states (except Massachusetts) and Canada, the Slingshot is classified as an autocycle and does not require a motorcycle license. In certain jurisdictions the driver and passenger must wear motorcycle helmets. As per regulation in the U.S., the functional headlights are in the middle of the vehicle.
Beginning with the 2020 model year, the Slingshot is powered by a 2.0 liter inline four-cylinder gasoline-powered Polaris-designed engine that produces 203 hp with a conventional 5-speed manual, or 5-speed automated-manual transmission. Options include a windshield and fiberglass "Slingshade" roof.
The Slingshot is currently only sold in the U.S. and Canada, but were briefly sold in the U.K. and Europe. This roadster is a fun extra "toy" for the garage, or leisurely rental, especially in sunny Florida!
Modeled with the optional lower LED running lights, and larger black performance wheels.
