Toyota bz4X Mizuki

「瑞城市(Mizuki City)」とは、神乃木リュウイチ氏(Ryuichi Kaminogi)による「Cities:Skylines」を利用して架空の日本都市「瑞城市」を作成していくライブ配信シリーズである。

ここでは「今週の公用車」として親しまれている瑞城市公用車仕様の「トヨタ bz4X」について紹介する。

瑞城市内でも「カーボンニュートラルは"しろたん"そのものを飛ばしたり走らせたり」とか、「いや、瑞城のカーボンニュートラルはしろたんから精製したものもあるやろ」と騒がれている中、瑞城市交通局自動車部及び「こちやワークス(Kochiya Works)」がこれに苦言を呈していた。

そんな中、瑞城市交通局自動車部長のKochiyaは「カーボンニュートラルはしろたんのほかに、水素、電気、水蒸気とかある。一番の敵は"炭素"であるはず」との言葉をたたきつけ、急遽このbz4xをはじめとした電気自動車の改造にも手を染め始める。

そこで研究用に魔改造を施したのがこの「bz4x 瑞城市公用車仕様」である。

某メーカーの「e-〇or○○」にも近い四輪電気瞬間制御を採用し、モーター一基当たり400psという「一見モンスターマシンじゃないか」、「なんだいつもの東風谷ワークス(Kochiya Works)か」といいたくなるが、専用のリミッターと人工知能による緻密な制御を組み合わせることで猟奇的な運動性能と上質なハンドルさばきを両立した。
またこのシステムは「クローレ(QRAWLe)」と呼ばれ、瑞城市交通局自動車部公式改造車両及び瑞城自動車の専売特許として順次搭載されていく…と思う。
