Vanilla Modular Station Project
…if vanilla isn’t enough vanilla for you!
This project was a great personal desire and took a lot of work to create. The reason for this project was a nuisance: I wanted to build a train station between individual lanes of the motorway. While this is possible in the base game, it doesn’t look good.
You can now build modular train stations with the Vanilla Modular Station Project. The package includes 6 ground platforms (3 for metro, 3 for trains) as well as various footbridges and station buildings. You can find all elements in the train and in the metro tab! Placing platforms, bridges, etc. works without any modifications!
Please note the following information:

– All elements are oriented towards the zoning, you don’t need any mods to place!
– All elements require a road connection to build them.
– Station buildings require a permanent road connection.
– Ground Platforms do not require a permanent road connection.
– Pedestrian bridges require a permanent road connection, (normal footpaths do not make connections (vanilla).

Last but not least…
This is my first big asset. My skills are just beginning. I spent many hours testing all modules for functionality. Do the citizens reach the platform? Are the paths okay for pedestrians? Every modder who creates assets knows that testing takes a lot of time. And sometimes you can’t see the wood for the trees! 🙂 Please understand that mistakes happen (and will be corrected as soon as possible).
The metro station in the basic game served as a template for the platforms.
