The PPG Paints Arena (formerly Consol Energy Center) is a multi-purpose arena located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was inaugurated in 2010 and has a capacity for 19,100 spectators for basketball and 18,387 for ice hockey. It is the track where the Pittsburgh Penguins of the NHL play their home games, which came to replace the Civic Arena, which dated from 1961.
