Timboh’s Turbine-Stack Interchange
"Wait a minute!? A new upload from that Timboh guy. I thought that selfish scrub had abandoned us! Oh, is it time to return now?" That’s hopefully not your reaction when you see this, but I can understand why. I’ve been gone for a loooong time. Real life catches up with you at some point, you know, and I don’t think I’ll be able to upload anything as often as I did from the start. I won’t stop maintaining the collection, I promise, but sometimes you just have to slow down.
Allright, this interchange, then! This is a Turbine-Stack, and just like the name suggests, it’s a turbine… and a stack. It’s one of my favorite interchange designs actually, and it’s a bit of a pity that it’s quite rare. The way its constructed gives two directions faster stack ramps, and the other two gets turbine ramps. Like I said, the stack ramps ae faster, but the differnce between the stack and turbine ramps are so small, the entire interchange peforms very well overall, putting it at second place between the Stack and Turbine. Furthermore, two quadrants are next to empty, which gives you alot more room for more of those beautiful new airports (thanks Colossal! *whink whink*)
