Description:

Timothy Eaton Business and Technical Institute was a High School located in Toronto Ontario, Canada. The school opened in 1971 as the third and final trades focused school in the then City of Scarborough. Like the other "BTI" schools, Timothy Eaton began to see a gradual decline in its enrolment as students began to look away from Trades based classes. The school was closed in 2009 due to low enrolment and the TDSB’s movement away from specialized trades schools, to offering trades based classes in normal high schools. The school building itself was torn down in 2014 making it the first of Toronto’s 3 BTI schools to disappear.

The facility includes: 12 Standard Classrooms, 2 Science Labs, a verity of Trades Shops, Double Gymnasium, Cafeteria with Stage, and Library.
