Toronto Style Elementary School 6
The sixth Elementary School in my Toronto School Collection. This is a recreation of John McCrae Public School (JK-8).
This school opened as Jonh McCrae Senior Public School in 1968 and was designed by "Raymond Moriyama". This school is built elevated above its parking lot and is broken up into "pods". Originally this school functioned as a middle school but it was merged with its neighbouring elementary school "McCowan Road Jr PS, in 2011 making it a Kindergarten to Grade 8 school. To facilitate this merger a lower level was added onto the schools rear pods to house Kindergarten classrooms.
The facility includes 28 standard classrooms, 2 Kindargarten rooms, 2 Science Labs, Double Gymnasium with stage, Cafeteria with Kitchen, and Library.
