Strolling across Victoria City since 1904, the Hong Kong Tramway now is the world’s only still operating fully double-decker tram system. Which uses double decker trams exclusively to travel through busy business districts and bustling city centers.
It may be the most recognizable tram in the world, the icon of Hong Kong is the local’s favorite transportation method in the city and, at the same time a must-ride tourist attraction. It’s a pleasant way to travel around the rapid-paced city through slow but elegant trams, pretty romantic.
As to keep the tram as the most affordable mode of transportation in the city, the company’s primary source of revenue is from advertising. Almost every tram in the tramway’s fleet are covered in advertisment.
