Description:

A very different kind of temperate map theme.

A trope that many gamers and game developers use to describe the first (rather generic) level of a platformer is the "Green Hill Zone", after the Sonic the Hedgehog games. The idea is that this area is temperate, sunny, and fairly nice looking to see. As such, this is a nice, sunny, and rather temperate theme for cities to exist in. It’s of course, inspired by the Sonic the Hedgehog games as well as the climate of Southern California.

NOW INCLUDES CUSTOM NAMES!

It just couldn’t be a generic temperate map without a large variety of names to make your anytown, USA shine or to bring you back to those days of playing Sim City. With 142 male and female names, 130 (give or take) last names, and a modest number of generic names for buildings, you may just spot a Homer Simpson going to work at a Nuclear Power Plant, a Trevor Phillips robbing a Seedy Store, or just follow some gal named Nikki-O Yaks to her job at Peter Principal. And of course, some "Sonic" names are in there, because this is clearly a Sonic-inspired map.

Self-Referential, but all the trees and bushes that are best paired with this theme are here: Civil Mania: Custom Maps & Themes
