Tightly-compacted elevated highway interchange for dense urban environments.
– Takes up very little land area.
– Elevated design allows roads to pass underneath.
– Gradual turns prevent light traffic from slowing down.
– Low slopes ease placement on uneven terrain.
– Long ramps allow traffic lines without backing up the highway.
– Ramps can be lengthened or upgraded to two-lane roads for increased capacity and queue size.
I based the unusual "highway on top" design from the intersection of Highways 75 & 190 near Dallas, Texas.
