Less Steam
This mod reduces unnecessary network traffic with Steam
Enable the mod as usual. The mod runs during the Paradox logo, so it will take effect the next time you start the game.
How much traffic is there?
Content Manager generates lots of it. If you have many workshop subscriptions, the game does many Steam requests when the main menu loads. This mod ensures that those requests aren’t made before you are actually looking at a workshop item in Content Manager.
That traffic is not used for gameplay at all. It is just additional information for display in Content Manager, for example asset author name.
