Please rate the map with a thumbs up if you like the creation….Thank you!!

Welcome to Farrisco’s Isle!

Farrisco’s Isle has rightly been called an island of contrasts: it combines simplicity with sophistication; towering cliffs and twisty canyons; rolling countryside and a dramatic coastline.
Its diversity makes it an appealing destination for families and couples, and young and old alike, whatever their interests, it can be created on Farrisco’s Isle.
Now open for development, its your time to shape the future of the Island.

The Creation

A long time in development I wanted to create a map to test your building skills, a map with it all, great possibilities for tunnels through the mountains, bridges to connect the outer Islands, small flat areas for district centers, old quarries for ore industry, plenty of forests, farmlands and even an old medieval city trading post now lying in ruins just waiting for your cims to explore!

Map Information

This map uses zero stock game trees so be sure to subscribe to the Farrisco’s Isle Map Collection.
Some roads are taken from the Network Extensions mod so you can actaully see and drive through the tunnels.
No paid DLC is needed.
You can pick and choose which of the workshop items to use. So if you dont like some of the workshop items I have chosen for the map dont sub to those. I do suggest using most of the trees and rock pack as these really make the map much different than other maps on the workshop.
With little infrastructure I wanted you to decide where intersections, roads and rail should be placed keeping with the idea of the map being an open landscape ready for development.

Suggested workshop items to beautify the experience

(Subscribe to the collection for the ultimate experience)

81 tiles mod – Why not use all tiles, can also be played with the 25 tiles mod
Adaptive prop visibility distance – Can reduce framerates but allows the meadows and boulders to be seen at a greater zoom
Cleyra Map Theme – Just the most beautiful looking landscape
Springwood LUT – My favourite for this map so far
Network Extensions – for the main road that takes you over the Island

Why I started this project

Last year I was the unfortunate victim of a hit and run on my motorcycle and was left in the road by the scumbag. Unable to do much for a few months I started creating this map to fill my time. It became an absolute joy to do, hand-placing all the trees and bushes, the rocks and boulders, it was quite the relaxing theraputic experience and I became engrossed spending more time map creating than building the city.

Thanks to

A small tip would be amazing! Thanks [ko-fi.com]
