This is a 1:1 map of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Features of this map include:
– All default: no required theme, no required items
– 4x Rail, Highway, and Air links, no shipping link
– All resources except oil
– Attractive landscape where the center has a nice small hill feature including promontory right in downtown for a castle, and surrounding areas that are mostly flat
– Outer ring highway system to help you by diverting regional traffic away from downtown
– Update: Sewer and Fresh Water Pump added to start area to help you locate the right spots. Just add pipes and power

– *******READ ME****** – WATER PLANNED FOR YOU, BUT this only works for a short time while your city is still small. Ljubljana’s rivers are very small for a CS map. Therefore, I made a few special features in the rivers at your start area. Instruction on precise placement of fresh water intake and sewer outflow are written with trees so it’s easy for you.
Several very powerful water spawns are located in those very deep parts of the rivers of the start area.They are designed so your rivers will produce enough water and suck in enough sewage outflow with water level control so your beginning of a city will work very well.
I recommend as soon as your city can:
1) Fresh water: using mostly defaul water towers, or a custom high-volume water tower. This is a beautiful one for Central Europe by Feindbild: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=772478132&searchtext=european
1) Sewer outflow: default users, locating your sewer outflow as far downstream as possible so it all runs off the edge of the map OR Best option: Workshop item: one (or more) Sewage Treatment buildings by Avanya. sewer buildings that take care of your sewage, and NO dumping into your rivers. If you do not do either option, you could be flooded with sewage because of the small rivers’ capacity.

*This default map will also work for any other custom European theme. If not Alps Dolomite, here is how you make your other choice of theme look right:
if white snow is used for oil, no problem – the small areas of snow will show up.
If oil is a less visible texture, no problem.
If the oil is bright color, you can use No Radioactive mod by BloodyPenguin with Oil Resource set to invisible, or just open the map in map editor, take out the small bits of oil on top of the hills and save map with a unique name.
