The TEMU1000 is a medium and long-distance tilt train belonging to the Taiwan Railway Administration ( 台鐵TRA ). It is also the first tilting train introduced in Taiwan.
The train manufactured by Hitachi, Ltd., designed from JR Kyushu ( JR九州 ) 885 series and started from May 8, 2007 in the name of the Taroko.
