Description:

This is a set of GO Transit two-tone Bilevel commuter trains that operate in the Greater Toronto Area.

Prop set can be found here.

This set consists of:

• 8-Car, 10-Car, and 12-Car versions of the commuter
• Custom bell, horn, and door chime sounds that can be heard on actual GO trains
• Working tail, ditch, and headlights on both the locomotive and the cab car
• Diesel exhaust from the locomotive, as well other sounds that match Bsquiklehausen’s Modern BiLevel Commuters

YOU MUST SUBSCRIBE TO THE REQUIRED MODS (Listed on the right) IN ORDER FOR THE LIGHTS, SOUNDS, AND PARTICLE EFFECTS TO WORK.

This livery was made using Bsquiklehausen’s American Modern BiLevel Commuter texture templates – while the textures were made by me, the models belong to Bsquiklehausen, and the textures would not have been possible without his templates.

UPDATE AS OF 12/11/2020

Trainsets have been updated for better detail! Thank you to Strategy Nerd for:
– Fitting the cabcar with the new cab Bombardier now uses on their modern bilevels
– Improving the LODs
– Reducing roof weathering and adjust the positioning of the GO Transit logo
– Optimizing and adding horn and knuckle coupler models from Astro

The consists have been put together the same way that GO Transit builds their consists (apart from the absence of a 6-car version). An MPXpress locomotive, Bombardier BiLevel passenger cars (with intermittent cars that support the transportation of bicycles), with a cab car at the end.

Please Note: I’ve tried to preserve as much detail as possible and as close to the real thing as I can. While GO Transit has only ever used MP40PH-3C’s (and recently the MP54-AC), the differences are so insignificant for the most part that it was not worth making an entirely new model to account for them.
