The seventh High School in my Toronto school series. This is a recreation of Weston Collegiate Institute (9-12).
Weston CI has a unique almost factory like look and has a very long history. While this building was opened in 1969 its history dates back to 1857 making it the second oldest school in Toronto. The original school was torn down and rebuilt in 1923. That school was then torn down and the current facility opened in 1969. The school recieved a small expansion in the 90’s with a new general office. This school also participates in the "International Baccalaureate" (I.B.) program.
The facility includes 24 standard classrooms, 6 Science Labs, 4 Art classes, 2 Music rooms, Auditorium with Balcony, Double Gymnasium, 23m Swimming Pool, Cafeteria, and Library.
