The class 700, introduced into service in 2016, was built by Siemens under their Desiro City platform for use on Thameslink services connecting north and south London and destinations such as Brighton, Gatwick Airport, and Luton Airport. The train comes in formations of 8 and 12 coaches, providing a high capacity, high frequency service through central London between London Bridge or Elephant & Castle and St Pancras International Stations.

This pack contains a Generic line colourable (unbranded Thameslink) liveried trains in 8 and 12 coach formations as well as a 6 coach formation to fit into the standard length station, all with line colourable doors. Turn on/off whichever you please in the content manager.

This train has a real life top speed of 160 kph (100 mph) and is thus deemed an express train with an in game top speed of 150 kph (IPT2 train speed setting of 24).
