Ausseer Land, Austria
This is a new version of my map ‘Bad Aussee’ with a more realistic scale and more details. The map captures the region around Bad Aussee which is located in Styria, Austria and is very mountainous with 2 big lakes (Altausseer See, Grundlsee). The main highway stretches from west to south-east and has only 2 lanes per direction. There is another outside connection coming from the south-west with only 2 lanes bidirectional.
I wanted to base the outside connections and roads a bit on the real conditions, so thats why there is only one railway line in the southern part of the map for example. In real-life, there is only one Schnellstraße (expressway/country road) and otherwise normal roads in the region.
