I only want to share modifications I made on his project, if this can interest someone.

Description:

The map is (should be) mods free and should not require any DLC in particular, but since there are some users with issues, I recommend you to have the Mass Transit one, at least.
The theme on the screenshot I used is “Monte Belo” Theme, by Mark Fire. Think about giving it a look.
It is not required to have it to play.
As the original, the map is designed to play with 25 tiles mod (by tomdotio), so I highly recommend it, it’s a must have.
Ground deepest elevation is at 0.
Water related areas are at 47.
Flat ground areas are at 60.

Changes from the original map:
– Main “in lands” highway removed to have more free space.
– Reshape the coastal elevation around some places (more rough).
– Removing few trees and forest areas (mainly to “create” buildable zones).
– Removing “farm/fields” trees layout inside the 25 tiles.
– Reshaping “main” (with outside connections) train tracks.
– Adding oil and ore sea zone (to be able to build the offshore platform and the dragging harbor).
– Flattening most of the lands, on the 25 tiles and out of boundaries.
– Train tracks are elevated with 4×12 units by 3m elevation (for more smoother effect on trains traffic).
– Terraforming areas for sea connected buildings, aligned on sea water level.

Please, see dedicated screenshots to see where I think different districts/facilities should go, but it’s clearly up to you.

Personal disclaimer:
I really enjoyed the map as the author built it. I played a nearly +70h save game on Den Drommel before thinking about a few updates.
Those “updates” reflect my own gameplay style and how I see things.
For example, I love to build on flat lands, because the game doesn’t handle perfectly terrain elevation differences when building (for example : parkings lots are going crazy with some 85° degrees angle … I mean : “Yeah, go park your car on that spot” ^^).
Moreover, I changed the layout of the main train track and highway to be able to build without “restriction” in the middle of the map, and I also terraformed some spots regarding “harbor/dock/water connected” buildings.
You may doesn’t like that … I can understand. Just remember that the “bulldoze” button exist before leaving a comment or a dislike.
