Description:

The mod replaces default, generic street names with British-flavoured ones.

Features:

• Over 11,000 unique street prefixes from across the UK (Church.., Oxford.., Portobello..).
• More than 50 street suffixes (..Road, ..Close, ..Crescent, ..Rise, ..Esplanade).
• Smart™️ road naming. Street suffixes are determined by road type, surrounding topography and road network topology. Some of the detected features include:
  • dead ends and crescents,
  • squares and roundabouts,
  • hillsides,
  • waterfront,
  • and more.
• Motorway numbering and automatic detection of motorway carriageways, both of which are given the same number where possible.

Subscribe to this mod and enable it in the Content Manager.

You also need to be subscribed to Harmony 2.0.x, a utility which facilitates mod creation.

The mod should be compatible with any custom roads, including Vanilla+ and Network Extensions 2.

It is unlikely to conflict with other mods, unless they provide a very similar functionality.

It is compatible with Custom Namelists. The mod will completely override any custom street names set with Custom Namelists, but you can still use that mod to change names of districts and other objects.
