Kennebec Lift Bridge
This is a pack of networks to create a 1920’s steel girder lift bridge. Its a little rusty but holding strong.
The road deck is just two lanes, and the lower level is only wide enough for a single train track.
Comes with 3 road networks, the tower building, and a wire. You will need Anarchy and MoveIt to put it all together properly.
Subscribing to the Lift Bridge Rail is not required for the roads to work, but few other rail or road networks will fit in the narrow truss.
This was modeled on the Carlton Bridge in Bath, Maine crossing over the Kennebec River.
Obviously it doesn’t raise when boats pass, though if someone created a mod for that I would be thrilled. You can place the lift segment higher for a permanently lifted look.
This is a fairly detailed model, so fair warning to those with weaker computers.
I’m planning on converting this into a wider version soon, with 4 road lanes and 2-way rail underneath, but it’ll probably take a while.
3/22 Update: Please subscribe to the required truss segment asset. I have removed that segment from this Workshop item and moved it there. For reasons I still don’t understand packaging both the truss and lift segments into one workshop item caused the truss segment to appear as the wrong model. Uploading separately seems to have fixed this.
