Tree & Vehicle Props 2
This mod generates props from trees and vehicles.
This mod combined Elektrix’s original Tree and Vehicle Props mod and my Tree & Vehicle Props Patch mod with some additional tweaks. Elektrix retired from modding in July 2020. If you are totally new, please first read the description of those two predecessor mods.
– Elektrix’s original mod uses Harmony 1. This mod moves to Harmony 2. Modders are working to update/replace old Harmony 1 mods to increase reliability and stability for other mods
– Multi-language support. See below for the Crowdin project link
– This mod will try to re-categorize some vehicle props that are not generated by this mod, into correct prop categories in Find It 2, if the asset creators followed a specific naming scheme:
For example, if the vehicle asset is named "Toyota Prius", the re-categorization will work if the asset creators named their own prop as "Toyota Prius Prop". Adding " Prop" to the end of the asset name.
– Easier to maintain because I don’t need to patch the original mod, and you only need to subscribe to one mod instead of two

If you are using EML, the vehicle props generated by this mod will have unwanted light effects when the game time is in the night cycle.
Quistar(EML’s creator) is planning to implement similar features of this mod into EML and Prop Anarchy
If a generated vehicle prop has terrible default thumbnail, add the custom tag "bad_thumbnail" to the asset and Find It 2 will attempt to generate a custom thumbnail.
Remove the custom tag and RESTART the game to change back to default thumbnail
If you want to use this mod as a local mod(not from steam workshop subscription), you have to move the bundled TVPConversionTemplate.crp file to the local asset folder

Case 1. You used the original mod by Elektrix, but not the patch mod:
This mod should work straight out of the box. Make sure you remove the two predecessor mods, and CHECK if your placed TVP props are loaded correctly in your existing saves before you overwrite the save filesCase 2. You used the patch mod and you never customized the skipping list:

This mod uses a different xml file, however the skipping list works in the same way. You can copy the skippedEntries from the original TVPropPatchConfig.xml file to the new TreeVehiclePropsConfig.xml file.
Step 1.
Make sure the two predecessor mods are completely removed. Start the game. Enable this mod in the content manager, load a new map/existing save, and then close the gameStep 2.
This mod will generate a new TreeVehiclePropsConfig.xml file. You can copy your existing skipped entries from TVPropPatchConfig.xml to this new file. Just make sure the last line in the new file is </TreeVehicleProps> not </TVPropPatch>, and do not change any line before <SkippedVehicleEntries> in the new file.Step3.
