Asymmetric LRT – Road #01 [AN-V]
Hello all togther !
HereΒ΄s another project which I started some time ago and initially didnt have the intention
to publish it…. but that obviously changed. ;P
This road has an somewhat "odd" design and I think, its use case are limited.
I came up with that design, because I wanted to have a road for my city
which could act as an "edge/border" road, that literally runs at the border
of an area. In order to use it for that and to save nets, I added some wall and fence options
to it, which can be choosen via the awesome AN – Mod by Kian Zarin.
You can take a look at some examples of these down below.
Thats it so far… maybe you can make use of this road as well. π
- AN is crucial for this road to work !!
- zoing is possible on both sides of the road
- if you dont want to use my traffic light props or the poles, I
provide a Vanilla Option, wich can be activated via AN - can only be build in one direction (no "switches" to change direction)
- added Vanilla Rails
- changed some textures / meshes
- new UI positions
- I REUSED a lot of textues, I already used in other roads
- especially all the LRT textures
- my Base Road Textures
- the fence textures from my pathways etc.
- only ground version
- two way tram tracks (LRT)
- one way car lane + parking
- tram stops on both sides of the LRT tracks (one center platform)
- bus stop(s) possible
- various prop customisation
- for example Vanilla Traffic and Street Lights (if you dont want to use mine)
- station Props can be deactivated
- etc.
- Overview of all Customisation – Options
- Overview of Segment AN – Options"
- on the pics below, you can see the an activated fence and a wall
- these are only available at the "tram side" (the "edge" side) of the road
- you can also see, that you can connect these fences over/at the nodes
- the two fences and one wall of the edge of the road can also be used on the platform
- … on the "inner" side of the road, you can activate a Power Line
- thats basically the same as on other roads, where I used this feature
- AN – SegmentEnd Options (Examples)
- … via the SegmentEnd – Options, these Stop Fences can be activated
- the inner ones together and the one at the outer edge of the platform separately
- AN – Node Options (Examples)
- the first two pics show the "connection Options" on the Node
- – Power Lines (over Node)
- – Fences / Wall (over Node)
- there is a little "issue" regarding AN, which might be changed in the future…
- I wont explain that in detail, because it doesnt really matter …
- … but what matters is, that you have to deactivate the Wires, when you want
to connect that road to a "wide – tram" road, shown on the pic.- … you then also habe to manually avtivate the wire connection for the wide tram road
- Adaptive Networks Mod by kian.zarrin
- Traffic Lights (LSM optimized)
- Utility Pole(s) Pack (contains 5 Poles/Lights – LSM optimized)
- Tram and Bus Shelters (LSM optimized)
- Tram and Bus Signs by Pewex
The Road will work without the lights or the CEL Mod, BUT the Adaptive Networks
is absolutely needed! Without it, this Road is just a "mesh mess" π
As always π
Loading Screen Mod – created by thale5, fixed and updated by Klyte45 and
now maintained and improved by algernon.
- almost all (currently) available road networks use the same texture set
IΒ΄ll add them when they are back … π
If you like this addition to the workshop… and you want more,
you could give it a thumbs up. π That would be very much appreciated !!! π
