San Montino island
Welcome to my first map San Montino island.
San Montino island is a map suitable for smaller to medium sized cities. The map has very neutral theming, this way you can customize it to your liking by (for example) adding palm trees to make it feel more tropical. The map has some large mountain ranges along with some flat valleys to build on. it also has lots of possibilities for ports, airports and smaller towns.
This map is created in a compact way so that it is easier to fill out your map/city. the struggle to fill out acres of land is definitely reduced here.
The highway that runs trough the island is connected to 2 sides of the map so traffic can flow trough. if your highways get too busy from the cars that are passing trough, you could try to add toll booths or create a tunnel on both edges that connects the highway with a shorter route.
For this map i used the Laviante map theme + LUT, i you decide to use these as well, please also download the ultimate eyecandy mod to brighten up the map.
Visual mods i used in the screenshots are:

– Ultimate level of detail (recommended)
Other recommended mods:
– 81 Tiles to take advantage of all the space provided. Works really well with just 25 or even the vanilla 9 tiles too.
– Prop & Tree anarchy to prevent some trees disappearing at launch due to collisions.
