Mazda CX-3

CX-3（シーエックス・スリー）は、マツダが製造・販売しているクロスオーバーSUVである。

「SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY」とデザインテーマ「魂動（KODO）-Soul of Motion 」を全面採用した新世代車種の第5弾となるコンパクトクロスオーバーSUVである。

エンジンはディーゼルエンジンとガソリンエンジンの2種類が用意される。

日本での発売当初はディーゼルエンジンの「SKYACTIV-D 1.5」のみの設定であったが、
2017年6月より、海外市場では既に搭載済みだったガソリンエンジンの「SKYACTIV-G 2.0」が、
2020年5月には1.5Lの「SKYACTIV-G 1.5」が順次設定された。

なお、マツダの乗用車では後発のCX-8についてもディーゼルエンジン車のみを先行発売（ガソリンエンジン車は2018年10月設定）している。また、2018年5月の大幅改良で、ディーゼルエンジンが1.8Lの「SKYACTIV-D 1.8」に換装されている。

日本仕様では、前述のとおり1.5Lガソリンエンジンの「SKYACTIV-G 1.5」、
2.0Lガソリンエンジンの「SKYACTIV-G 2.0」、
1.8Lディーゼルエンジンの「SKYACTIV-D 1.8」の3種類が設定された。

1.5Lガソリン車はP5-VPS型、2.0Lガソリン車はPE-VPS型、1.8Lディーゼル車はS8-DPTS型がそれぞれ搭載される。

6月に防府第1工場（山口県防府市）での生産を終了し、今後はタイおよびメキシコ工場でのみ生産することになる。日本へはタイ工場で生産している車両を逆輸入することになった。マツダでの逆輸入はOEMや教習車を除くとこれが初。

The CX-3 is a crossover SUV manufactured and sold by Mazda.

This is the fifth compact crossover SUV of the new generation model that fully adopts "SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY" and the design theme "KODO-Soul of Motion".

There are two types of engines, a diesel engine and a gasoline engine.

When it was first released in Japan, it was set only for the diesel engine "SKYACTIV-D 1.5".
From June 2017, the gasoline engine "SKYACTIV-G 2.0", which has already been installed in overseas markets, has been released.
In May 2020, 1.5L "SKYACTIV-G 1.5" was set in sequence.

As for Mazda’s passenger cars, only diesel engine cars have been released in advance for the later CX-8 (gasoline engine cars were set in October 2018). In addition, the diesel engine has been replaced with the 1.8L "SKYACTIV-D 1.8" with a major improvement in May 2018.

In the Japanese specification, as mentioned above, the 1.5L gasoline engine "SKYACTIV-G 1.5",
2.0L gasoline engine "SKYACTIV-G 2.0",
Three types of 1.8L diesel engine "SKYACTIV-D 1.8" have been set.

The 1.5L gasoline vehicle will be equipped with the P5-VPS type, the 2.0L gasoline vehicle will be equipped with the PE-VPS type, and the 1.8L diesel vehicle will be equipped with the S8-DPTS type.

Production at the Hofu Daiichi Plant (Hofu City, Yamaguchi Prefecture) will end in June, and will be produced only at the Thai and Mexican plants in the future. It was decided to reimport the vehicles produced at the Thai plant to Japan. This is the first reimport at Mazda except for OEM and training vehicles.
