[Purpose]

This asset was designed to take advantage of the texture management features of the "Procedural Objects" mod, allowing anyone to use a variety of customized pole signs without even running Cities.

[What is the Texture Management feature?
This feature allows you to replace the PO diffuse map by putting a PNG image into the file specified by Procedural Objects.
This makes it easy to place original textured objects in your city by creating PNG images using your own image editing software.
You are free to create anything you want, even if it is local or even fictional.
And if you have all the components of the asset at hand, you can easily create and publish the asset by following the repainting process.

[Why are there so many assets?
Due to the specifications of Procedural Objects, attached props and illumination maps are lost during the PO conversion process.
Since lighting is essential for a pole sign, the loss of props was a serious problem for JPMS pole.
So, we decided to split up the parts to be PO’d and the parts not to be PO’d at the design stage, and have the player combine these parts so that they can benefit from the texture management features, but not have the lighting of the attached props be disappeared.
We also hoped that by modularizing the assets, we would be able to create more customizable pole signs, so we decided to split the pole signs into asset packs.
This is why JPMS pole has a large number of assets.

[How do I combine modules?
We assume that you will use "Move It".
You can either use Move It’s Coordinate Specification function or Move It’s Scale Inwards/Outwards function.
Modules that require PO’d, Repaint and Prop Painter should be combined after the respective operations have been completed, even if any of the combination methods are used.
It is also a good idea to make the AddSign module at a different height than the other objects, and all other modules at the same height.

[Brief explanation of the Scaling function]

There is no icon for the Scaling function, and there should be no key registered by default, so this operation requires a key config to be registered from Options.
Select all the modules using the Move It range selection mode, and Scale Inwards until the green circle representing each range becomes a concentric circle.
If you have scaled them too far inwards, press Scale Outwards to move them in the opposite direction. The result should be a single module and a single pole sign.

[Any plans for updates?
We are ready to add more modules for pole signs in the future.
Specifically, we plan to add banners and a plate type construction bases.
There are also plans to distribute textures and model templates as another workshop item.
We sincerely look forward to your subscribing.

We are releasing files packed with plate module, AddSign module components, xcf files (GIMP edit save files), and so on.
By rewriting the file with your image editing software, you can display your favorite patterns on the various display surfaces of the pole sign.
You can also create and publish your assets as they are.
Please add "JPMS" to the item name when you publish it.
We will be very happy.
