Vanilla Tram Track 2 Ways/1 Lane (ALTERNATIVE)
This network can also be used without the Reversible Tram AI Mod.
All over the world there are single tram tracks, which are used in both directions. For example, the tram in Potsdam runs on a single track through the "Nauener Tor (Nauener Gate)" and there are many more examples of such routes!
This is a modified variant of the Vanilla single tram track.
Trams can use this track in two directions.
This network can be used with or without the mod.
►With Reversible Tram AI Mod: Trams can reverse at the stop.
►Without Reversible Tram AI Mod (Vanilla players): Trams cannot turn back at the stop.
The trams require a turning loop.
Features:
- 100% Vanilla
- Ground, Elevated, Bridge, Slope and Tunnel (not rendered)
- Stops possible on ground, elevated and bridge segment
- Pedestrians can walk along the edge of the track
Use the traffic manager mod to handle the right of way on the single track section.
In the workshop you will also find a tram track 2-Ways/1-Lane version that is less complicated but does not have vanilla tracks and bridges…
Stops are supported on the single track segments. However, it is not possible to have a stop for both directions on one segment. Only one direction is supported at a time. For both directions please do the following:
You have to pull the segment in the other direction. That means: Build a segment from left to right. Then build a segment to the left from the left node.
