Description
This mod is an expansion pack for Vehicle Effects mod.
New effects summary:
- Turbo-diesel sound effect with delayed turbo rpm, simulating turbine inertia
- Electric motor sounds for older direct current driven metro-like trains
- Specialized sound for Sprague-Thomson with departure bell, braking air strokes, wheel squealing and compressor
- Diesel idle sound while trains are stopped
- Functional rear lights
- Rolling stock sounds for passenger and cargo trains
- Braking sound, speed dependent
- Wheel flange grinding/squealing in curves (depending on radius and speed)
- Door closing sounds
- Bell and whistle sounds available for arrival and departure

By default, the mod silences the rail service sounds played randomly at stations, since I found them to be disturbing. Also, the global reverb that came with game version 1.6 is disabled by default.You can change this behaviour and some effect volumes in the options.
The mod can be deactivated any time without danger of breaking anything.
